Why are my generation requests taking longer than expected?

Model loading

If the model you selected is not currently active on the server, it may need to load before your request can be processed. This process is sometimes referred to as a model “warm-up.”

High demand

During periods of high usage, more requests are processed simultaneously, which may slightly increase generation time.

Complex workflows

Some workflows or models require more compute resources, which can increase the time required to complete the generation.

Model warm-up and dynamic loading help balance performance across users and models, ensuring that Runware can support thousands of models efficiently while maintaining fast generation speeds overall.

What you can do

If generation is slower than expected:

• Try generating again after a few seconds

• Use a commonly used model, which may already be preloaded

• Check if your request includes larger images or complex parameters
